Dru Yoga- realigning a deeper part of our nature
Dru yoga has a certain kind of magic. It appears gentle yet it has an incredibly powerful effect on every level of our being and is very effective at bringing about transformation.

Dru comes from the Sanskrit word dhruva which refers to the stillness which can be experienced through this practise. In this stillness we are able to distance ourselves from the noise of daily life and see and act with clarity and inner calm. Using a variety of flowing sequences, Dru helps us to relate to the rhythm and flow of life and dissolves physical, energetic, emotional and mental blocks.
Dru can be done by absolutely anyone at any level of fitness as all movements can be adapted to be fully inclusive.
That stillness....is you
Dru Yoga has its roots in hatha yoga and includes classical yoga postures (asanas), pranayama (breath work), mudras (gestures), positive affirmations, empowering visualisations and powerful, flowing, dynamic sequences which all work together to bring about freedom and ease in both the body and mind.
No matter what age, shape or size you are, you’ll be able to do Dru Yoga. You won’t need to compare yourself with anyone, and I never talk about the ‘perfect posture’. Instead I encourage many ways to do a yoga pose depending on your unique ability.
